A new update to the ridiculously popular open source CMS, Joomla, is now available. Version 2.5.3 is now available for upgrade and brings with it two new security fixes, namely:

The update process is very simple, and complete instructions are available here. Note that there are now easier and better ways of updating than FTPing the files.
