TomatoCMS, the open source content management system has seen a new release with version 2.0.2 released on 29th, Jan, 2010.

What's new in this TomatoCMS 2.0.2 version?

1) Tag system:

User can tag not only the articles but also photos, sets:

(1): Make a suggestion based on user input
(2): Show list of current selected tags

(1): Search for tags
(2): Create new tag
(3): List of tags. You can click on tag to remove it.

In addition, this version provide two widgets for tagging.
The first one named tag show list of tags for given item (item here can be article, photo or photo set):

and the second one is Tag Cloud which show list of tags:

2) Front-end for multimedia:

Now, you can view photo, clip on frontend section.

3) Menu builder:

The menu is most important component of website. In this version, we released an initial version for menu module.

4) Ability of customizing URLs:

In 2.0.1 version and earlier, the default URL of article is http://site.com/news/article/view/1/1/
Now, with 2.0.2 version, developer can customize URLs of article, category, photo pages.
This is better for SEO.

In following figure, I configured article page's URL to format of
/news/article/view/ID_Of_Category/ID_Of_Article-Slug_Of_Article.html

Currently, developers have to configure it in route files manually. In 2.0.3 version, we should provide a backend interface for it.
