Hi,

I agree with D Mahan and the fact that templates from the top providers can be "top heavy" and not suitable for a wide variety of projects. I recently came across this site http://www.joomlage.com. They have a nice variety of tasty looking templates with simple layouts. So far I have purchased 5 templates from Joomlage.com. Quality is excellent and the support via email is brillant compared with some of the larger companies who only use forums. Anyone looking for a new template provider to add to their list should check this company out.

These template providers are certainly some of the best (if not the best) template providers. However, for the short list, I'd say that GavrickPro and RocketTheme are my first two choices. Nonetheless, these template themes always seem to be "top heavy". In other words, the templates are loaded with gizmos that increase the load time, which can be a deal breaker to impatient site visitors.

We need some minimalist template providers like iTemplater and Veero.net. When it comes to accessibility and usability of website, simplicity sometimes can be best. Of course, simplistic in my definition does not mean plain vanilla! Simplistic, elegant, slick, and modern Joomla template providers are desperately in need.
