Adobe Business Catalyst Review
Adobe Business Catalyst is a great offering by Adobe. It is a solid blend between a powerful SaaS (software-as-a-service) based content management system and a website builder. With tons of integrated functionality, it's a very good option to consider for those in the market for an inexpensive but powerful cloud solution.
Adobe Business Catalyst offers integrated ecommerce, email marketing, CRM, web apps and a very good array of reporting and analytics options, you'd be hard pressed to find a better solution at a reasonable cost.
The video below does a great job of showcasing the features you get with BC:
Pricing for Business Catalyst at the time of this review is between $12-40 (on a monthly plan). For those who pay yearly, you receive a slight discount. For what you receive for the pricing, I think this is priced accurately and reasonably and definitely competes with other platforms. Enterprise pricing is not advertised on their website and requires you contact them for a quote.
Who is it for?
Small to Midsize Businesses looking for a powerful all-in-one solution from a reputable and reliable provider, should give Business Catalyst consideration. For the price, the feature set is very rich and personally, I think it out performs the bulk of the other similarly marketed products out there.
Pros and Cons
- Tons of features
- Inexpensive considering what you get for your hard earned dollar
- Reliable vendor (Adobe's not going anywhere any time soon)
- Good help / support
- Could be overwhelming for newbies
- Not as easy to use as some other builders
This isn't a drag and drop, super easy to use system but it's not difficult either. For a walkthrough of the features and how things look, view the video below where I guide you through the product from start to finish and explore the functionality.
